I recently had the opportunity to attend a conference in the Dunadry Hotel, Antrim and met some great local photographers and also got some new inspiration from a photographer called John Denton who is a bit of a guru when it comes to lighting, photography and no doubt many other subjects. His session was well received and was delivered in an enthusiastic and very entertaining manner. If you haven't checked him out you should. Anyway fresh out of the starting blocks I thought I'd have a go at a bit of off camera strobe work so here's a couple of pics from today. These were all shot handheld, jpeg and edited with snapseed.

I've been neglecting things on the blog lately but have a few shots that I'll hopefully get posted soon...in the meantime here's a shot I took at the weekend for Matt Hart's Prime Sunday group over on Facebook and if you don't like that then here's a great video I discovered tonight featuring the Nikon D7000.
